Traveling to Zagreb

By plane

Zagreb airport has regular flights from many European destinations. The best way to get there from the airport is by taxi. The cost should be about 20 EUR (=140 kn, kuna is the local currency). An alternative is to take the bus from the airport which goes every 30 minutes to the main bus station (35 kn, about 5 EUR), and then to take the tram number 6 from the bus station to the Ban Jelaćić square where you take off. You can get the tram tickets at any news stand.

By train

Zagreb main train station is well connected, for instance, with Zürich, Wien, Budapest and Ljubljana.

About Zagreb

Zagreb is the capital of Croatia easy to reach from many European destinations. The charms of Zagreb have been recognized by ever increasing number of visitors: the al fresco cafe tables, the classic Austro-Hungarian architecture, the rows of fashionable boutiques and bars, restaurants, and lively night life. Before/after the workshop we suggest visiting the unspoiled natural beauty of Plitvice Lakes National Park (http://www.np-plitvicka-jezera.hr/en/, just two hour drive ) or the Adriatic Sea. In fact if there will be interest we will organize an excursion with hiking or swimming after the workshop.
